Kin Support
Get help, report a bug, or suggest an improvement for Kin for iOS, published by Intriguing Ideas, LLC. This page is for Kin support only.
Start with Kin's GitHub issues. You can also visit the public Kin repository.
Before you post: GitHub issues are public
Anyone can read your issue. Do not post children's personal details, real names, private photos, notebook contents, or unredacted screenshots. Use fictional examples. If a screenshot helps explain the issue, remove or obscure names, photos, birthdays, and other private details first.
How to file an issue
- Search existing issues, including closed issues, to see whether someone has already reported the problem or requested the feature.
- If you do not find a match, sign in to your GitHub account and select New issue.
- Add a brief, descriptive title. For a bug, include your Kin version and build number, iOS version, the steps to reproduce it, what you expected, and what happened instead.
- For a feature request, describe the behavior you would like and how it would help. Review your post for private information before submitting it. Maintainers handle labels; you do not need to choose one.
Prefer email?
Email [email protected] if you prefer not to use GitHub. Include the same useful details, but send only what is necessary. Do not send notebook data, children's personal details, private photos, or unredacted screenshots by email either.
We retain support emails indefinitely, with no scheduled deletion period. See the Kin Privacy Policy for how we handle support emails and privacy requests.
Privacy
Your Kin notebook is stored locally on your device. Intriguing Ideas cannot access it. Posting an issue or emailing support does not give us access to your notebook.
The Kin Privacy Policy covers Kin for iOS and Kin email support. Use of GitHub is governed by GitHub's terms of service and GitHub's privacy statement.
